Lyme
The Legh’s of Lyme
A regency house and garden developed by Thomas Legh who inherited at the age of five and became a gentleman traveller. A vivid history unfolds, notably involving the women in his life including his mother Sarah Glave, his first wife Ellen Turner, his daughter Ellen Jane and his second wife Maud Lowther. We saw an excellent production during our visit of “Legends of Lyme” given by the women of enJOY Arts.
